Applicants must be studying towards a qualification in:

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be a first-year student (2026)
  • Be registered at a recognised South African university
  • Have a minimum 65% average in NSC (Matric)
  • Be studying a media-related qualification
  • Not be funded by NSFAS or any other bursary

What the Bursary Covers

  • Tuition fees only

Note: This bursary does NOT cover:

  • Accommodation
  • Textbooks
  • Living expenses

  • Certified copy of South African ID (not older than 3 months)

Academic Documents

  • Matric certificate / Statement of Results
  • Proof of university registration (2026)

Financial Documents

  • Latest university fee statement

Household Income Proof (for each parent/guardian)

  • Latest payslip OR affidavit if unemployed
  • Bank statements (last 3 months)

Incomplete applications will be automatically disqualified.
