Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be unemployed
- Be between 18 – 35 years old
- Have Matric (Grade 12) / NQF Level 4
- Be a resident of Makhado Local Municipality (proof required)
- Have no experience (training will be provided)
- Have a certified South African ID
- Submit a short CV
Duties and Responsibilities
🧹 Cleaning & Waste Management
- Litter picking and street sweeping
- Cleaning public spaces (parks, taxi ranks, CBDs, villages)
- Waste collection support
- Participate in municipal clean-up campaigns
- Assist with recycling separation
Greening & Gardening
- Tree planting and greening projects
- Gardening and maintenance of public spaces
- Watering, weeding, and landscaping
- Environmental rehabilitation support
Targeted Beneficiaries
Preference will be given to:
- Women (60%)
- Youth (55%)
- Persons with disabilities (2%)
- Child-headed and indigent households (proof required)
