Senwes Equipment is looking for a dynamic AMS consultant to increase the sales of the company and provide effective and efficient customer service through technical support, product knowledge, and precision farming solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales and Marketing

  • Promote sales and brand awareness through:
  • Farmer’s Days
  • Demonstrations, road shows, and clinics
  • Ad hoc marketing events
  • Expand and maintain a strong customer base
  • Monitor and improve market share
  • Liaise and coordinate with suppliers

2. Client Service & Technical Support

  • Conduct customer clinics and on-site visits
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide timely resolutions
  • Install and maintain equipment
  • Provide technical training and software updates
  • Offer backup solutions and man the call centre
  • Conduct follow-up calls using sales feedback reports

3. Administrative Duties

  • Prepare and issue quotations
  • Track orders and delivery timelines
  • Coordinate payment processes
  • Complete personal admin such as log sheets and leave forms

Requirements

  • National Diploma in Agricultural Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related field (Agricultural or Electronic Engineering)

Reporting To:

  • Manager Precision Farming

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of Precision Farming and related equipment
  • Knowledge of the agricultural sector
  • Product, marketing, and sales knowledge
  • Familiarity with supplier systems (John Deere System, JD MINT, STELLAR SUPPORT)
  • Bilingual proficiency
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Good time management and planning abilities
  • Problem-solving and conflict management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and customer awareness
  • High adaptability and flexibility
